BAL STRENGTHENS SALES AND SPECIFICATION SUPPORT TEAM

Mark Lambourn (l) and Richard Millington (r)

BAL, manufacturer of full tiling solutions, has bolstered its specification team with two new hires.

Mark Lambourn joins the team as Specification Manager covering the Midlands and Wales. He has extensive experience in the construction sector working with architects, house/modular builders, contractors and building owners to deliver high-quality specifications.

Based in Derby, Mark joins BAL from A Proctor Group Ltd, where he combined commercial and technical expertise to promote a portfolio of technically-advanced thermal, acoustic and membrane system solutions, from specification through to project delivery.

Also joining BAL is Richard Milligan, who will work as Specification Manager for the North of England. Originally from Bangor in Northern Ireland, but now living in Newcastle upon Tyne, Richard joins BAL from TPG The Parkside Group where his role was as an Architectural Advisor/Project Manager. He previously spent more than 10 years with EGGER (UK) in production, sales and specification roles, delivering high-value projects and presenting CPDs within architectural practices.

Mark and Richard will work with architects, designers and specifiers, supporting them on M40/M20 specifications, providing project support and delivering BAL’s suite of RIBA-approved CPDs.

Stuart Ross, Head of Specifications at BAL, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark and Richard to the team to support all stakeholders in delivering long-lasting and high-quality tiling projects across the whole of the UK as part of our continued development and investment in the specification sector.

“This investment confirms BAL’s position as a leading brand for projects large and small, providing high-quality tiling products along with a host of support services for designers, architects and contractors to assist them from design to build.”

BAL has several free tools available to architects and specifiers to assist them from project start to completion, including the company’s industry-renowned free and dedicated Technical Advisory Service (TAS) for specifications, technical queries and Sample Testing Services to ensure the correct selection of tiles and fixing products during the specification process.

Specifiers and architects can also take advantage of BAL’s comprehensive online tools and support including BIM library, fast track project advice, grout selector, industry news, technical tips and more.
