Launch of Lite Stone Limited

From the heart of the Peak District, Lite Stone Limited brings you quality slate, sandstone and basalt – but the difference is, their products bend.

Stone veneer is a new product, manufactured in Germany, which takes high quality stone materials and produces them on a polyester adhesive and fiberglass or cotton backing. It makes Lite Stone’s products lighter in weight, and faster and more cost-effective to install, than traditional stone. Its unique feature is that it is also malleable, meaning it can be moulded around columns or walls.

The firm has been set up by Ryan Beecroft, a natural stone specialist who began his career working in Derbyshire before working internationally in the industry. He has now returned back to his roots to found Lite Stone Limited from his premises in the Peak District.

Ryan, 30, said: “Having spent many years travelling across Europe, the Middle and Far East sourcing materials and managing bespoke natural stone projects I am delighted to be back home’’.

“I’m proud and excited to be one of the first companies in England to specialize in this type of natural stone product. The experience and expertise of myself and my team combined with our high-quality materials mean we can ensure our clients receive the best possible natural finish for their projects.”

Lite Stone offers a choice of 20 colour and material options – their range is one of the largest and most competitively priced in the UK. All have a 100% stone surface with natural variations in depth and character, making the product ideal for bathroom and kitchen walls, fireplaces, cladded garage walls and steps in residential properties. It’s also perfect for larger projects such as hotel lobbies, reception desks and lift areas.

Ryan said: “Our products offer a traditional stone aesthetic in neutral, warm colours for a classical setting and many options in dark and light colours for a more contemporary and minimalist look.”
