NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR TILING FOR A GOOD CAUSE CAMPAIGN

Online tile retailer, Tile Trader, is urging members of the public to nominate a space in their local area in need of a tiling makeover for their Tiling for a Good Cause initiative.

Online tile retailer, Tile Trader, is urging members of the public to nominate a space in their local area in need of a tiling makeover for their Tiling for a Good Cause initiative.

The nationwide campaign is designed to give one deserving facility the chance to receive a tiling transformation worth up to £500 to update a lacklustre space in need of a complete change.

Local spaces and projects may include the addition of brand new tiles to create a friendlier bathroom at a local care home, a fun mural for a sensory garden within a community centre, or on-trend tiles to update a kitchen area at a local sports club.

“Tiling for a Good Cause” is open to everyone and members of the public are being asked to simply submit a short, written description detailing how they would like the nominated space to be transformed with new tiles, with ideas to improve the space online here

Entries must be accompanied by a photograph or video to illustrate the current look of the existing space to update. Nominations can be made until Wednesday 15th November 2017.

The nominated entries will then be open to a public online vote between Wednesday 15th November 2017 and Wednesday 29th November 2017.

A panel of expert judges comprising of Karen Stylianides, editor for Grand Designs magazine, Michela Colling, style editor for Ideal Home magazine, and Cassie Fairy, home and interiors blogger and winner of the Tile Trader “Best Homes and Interiors Blogger Award” will then decide the overall winner shortly after this date.

The winning facility will receive new Tile Trader tiles and accompanying tiling materials worth up to £500. The prize does not include installation and entries must be a small project space.
