Solus Ceramics, supplier of architectural wall and floor tiles, has restructured its sales team to ensure it meets and exceeds the expectations of its customers, following a significant period of growth.

The new structure will not only see an increase in Area Sales Managers from 9 to 12, further supported by four dedicated Business Development project co-ordinators; but also each member of the team will now be able to offer quicker customer response times within their dedicated region within the UK, ensuring customers receive the highest levels of service and aftercare.

Overseeing the new venture and a team of 16 is David Overton, recently appointed Sales Director at Solus Ceramics, who has more than 28 years industry experience and has managed many prestigious projects, including Novotel Canary Wharf and MBS Crown Plaza Manchester, as well as providing specification advice to Citroën and Peugeot.

Commenting on his new role and the new team structure, David said: “I have worked with Solus Ceramics for more than nine years and I am delighted to oversee and help implement a new sales team structure as it’s a fantastic opportunity to put my years of experience to good use, whilst staying at the forefront of the industry.

“I have taken on this new role with the specific aim of mentoring and developing a sales team, comprising of both new and experienced talented professionals, incorporating more efficient working methods and ensuring we surpass the needs of our customers. By having a new team structure in place, and with our Business Development Managers covering smaller dedicated UK regions, we will only enhance our reputation as a company that provides a first-class service offering.”
