SYLKA named National Brand of the United Arab Emirates at Luxury Lifestyle Awards

SYLKA, innovators of the globally acclaimed NuSilk carpet, has been named National Brand of the United Arab Emirates at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in Dubai.

SYLKA, which has offices in London, America and the Middle East, was selected by an international panel of judges to receive the title, which recognises the best brands in the luxury sector.

The award was presented to SYLKA’s founder and Managing Director, Steve Farrell, during a gala ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai last night.

Speaking after receiving the award, Steve Farrell said: “We are all delighted to be taking home this amazing honour. Now, Sylka is taking the traffic of a million feet in the Mall of Emirates in flagship stores of the biggest global luxury brands in the world. All of this makes me proud and makes me feel humbled by the support of our clients, their trust in us and their belief in what we are doing. Tonight is further proof that what we are doing is appreciated. This award means so very much to everyone I work with”.

Steve added “SYLKA has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2012 and it is incredible to think how far we have come in such a short time”.

SYLKA has experienced unrivalled success in the Middle East and seen the sale of their carpets and rugs soar thanks to its offices and showroom at the Gold and Diamond Park, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. SYLKA is now looking forward to the launch of its production facility in Dubai, which will become operational later this year.
