The Flooring Show – news updates

The Flooring Show 2015
The Flooring Show’s brand new website is now live, and visitor registration is open; here are some news updates from the organisers:

The Wool Trends Centre continues to grow

As the 2014 Wool Trends Centre was such a great success, the British Wool Marketing Board and Campaign for Wool will be staging it again in 2015, in an even bigger space. The manufacturers who featured in this area last year; Cavalier, Axminster, Brintons, Adams, Ulster, and Brockway have all confirmed their 2015 participation, and will be joined there by Westex.

Exhibition growth

-    The 2015 exhibition floorplan has increased following demand from current and new exhibitors, and over 85% of the space is already sold with more than six months to run.
-    After a successful 2014 show Victoria Carpets is expanding its stand to have the capacity to show a full range of products to the company’s existing retailers, and to welcome new ones.
-    Karndean has reserved a large stand in Hall C adjacent to the Trends Hub where the company will amalgamate the two stands it had in 2014
-    Several important new names have booked for 2015 including Asiatic, Gooch, Ryalux, MagiGlide, and Malish & Steiner amongst others

Demo Areas confirmed

The ever popular demonstrations running throughout the show, organised by FITA and NICF, are confirmed. As in 2014 there will be two separate demo areas in Hall M and Hall B, which allows a much more comprehensive range of installation issues to be covered.

Comedy Night

Due to overwhelming demand, the Comedy Night is back! It will take place on the second evening of the show, Monday 22nd September. More details will follow.

Victoria Brady confirmed

Vanessa Brady OBE, Founder, the Society of British & International Design, has accepted our invitation to make a keynote presentation on Monday 22nd September.

As an international multi-award winning Interior Designer and Business Consultant, Vanessa is uniquely well placed to discuss the importance of design to the flooring industry. Her talk will be a must-attend session for all show participants, and especially designers and architects.  More details of her session, and all the other show seminars, will be published in the spring.

Carpet Crusher demonstrates the value of exhibiting at The Flooring Show

A first time exhibitor in 2014, Kenburn Waste Management picked up valuable business at the show for its Carpet Crusher compactor, which can save carpet contractors money as well as diverting waste streams from landfill. More information on the savings made by new Kenburn clients Clinton Carpets and Customer Craft Flooring can be found on the show website.
