During the five days of Cersaie 2018, the Italian and international tiling world will converge on Tiling Town, the space devoted to tile installation located, in the new Hall 31 A (former Area 49) close to the Piazza Costituzione entrance to the Bologna Exhibition Centre.

Now in its 7th edition, Tiling Town will be divided into six theme sections devoted to key topics of interest to the profession. Specialist technicians will be on hand to offer visitors advice and information with the aid of audio-visual and graphic material.

On each of the five days of Cersaie, a dedicated area will host a technical seminar for designers on the installation of large panels and slabs. The seminar will be divided into two hours of theory lessons and two hours of practical installation experience and will offer professional training credits to participating architects, engineers and surveyors.

A large space in Tiling Town will be occupied by the Italian national ceramic tile layers’ association, Assoposa, whose Master Tilers will demonstrate the installation of large size tiles while providing information and advice to visitors.

To further underscore the excellence and creativity of the Italian master tilers, Tiling Town has a “surprise” in store that will be revealed during the coming weeks.
