IRIS CERAMICA GROUP OPENS ITS FIRST UK SHOWROOM

Iris Ceramica Group, specialist in the design, production and distribution of high-quality porcelain and ceramic products, has opened its first UK showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell.

Building its portfolio up over the course of almost 60 years, Iris Ceramica Group is continuing to expand throughout Europe and has recently opened showrooms in Berlin and New York,

The Italian group places a large emphasis on ensuring that the entire process of the production of its eight brands is sustainable, with all of them operating a zero-impact production since 2018.

Iris Ceramica Group’s CEO is Federica Minozzi, the entrepreneurial daughter of its founder, Romano Minozzi. Their mutual passion for and knowledge of the brand is evident, and they hope to keep the company within their family for many years to come.

Federica commented: “We’re very proud and excited to be opening our new London showroom. A lot of effort and time has gone into ensuring that it represents our core values of beauty, innovation and sustainability. We really look forward to welcoming London’s design community through our doors, who we hope to inspire and impress in equal measure.”

The space has been conceived as a meeting place; somewhere members of the public can use to work independently, to co-work or to enjoy a coffee and relax with the free wi-fi, whilst enjoying the luxury design aspect of Iris Ceramica Group.

Each floor has its own very unique style. On the ground floor, visitors will be able to see a boutique hotel atmosphere. The striking white staircase leads to the top floor, which houses the ‘Diesel Living’ collection and materials inspired by the metropolitan world. The space on the top floor is a business-oriented area, which is perfect for co-working and studying.

The basement, however, is a more private dimension, transporting visitors into a spa-like layout, with traditional tile formats as the backdrop. A water feature is the eye-catching centrepiece with private ‘booths’ around the edges, creating a strong evocative ambience and making this floor ideal for independent working.

Visitors will be able to view a range of the Group’s products which are all sustainable due to the use of raw materials such as clay, feldspar sand, silica and quartz. All of these materials are widely spread on the earth’s crust and are not at risk of depletion.
