COSENTINO OPENS NEW CENTRE IN SCOTLAND

The Consentino Group is further expanding its UK operation with a new Centre in Scotland.

The Consentino Group, specialist in the production and distribution of surfaces for the world of architecture and design, is further expanding its UK operation with a new Centre in Scotland.

Based in Livingston, the new premises are ideally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh with great links North and South to service the entire country. Cosentino Scotland joins five other Cosentino Centres in the UK, currently based in Hook, Manchester, Gloucester, Darlington and East London.

Colin Harvey, General Manager for Cosentino Scotland, said: "Cosentino UK is thriving and introducing the Scotland Centre early in 2017 will help us to continue to meet demand and further grow the brand with our commercial and consumer customers. As well as a state of the art warehouse, we have also incorporated a showroom to exhibit the surfaces in a multitude of ways – helping to inspire visitors.”

The Cosentino Group has invested £1.6 million in the impressive 20,000 square foot Scotland Centre. The large warehouse holds 3,000+ slabs of stock, including Dekton ultra-compact surfaces, Silestone quartz worksurfaces and Sensa Granite worktops. The showroom features three kitchen displays and a façade multimedia unit to highlight the various application possibilities of Cosentino surfaces. Seven members of staff make up the Scotland team, including two client managers on the road.

The Cosentino Centre concept is an on-going ambitious project by Cosentino, to transform its warehouses into a fully integrated service for its customers in the architecture, design and stone industry. Cosentino Centres offer an excellent, high quality service, incorporating a showroom, storage facilities, offices and training rooms.
