TILE GIANT LAUNCHES NEW CONCEPT STORE FOR TRADE AND CONSUMER

Tile Giant has launched a new concept store format in Staines, inspired by home decor high street brands.

Tile Giant has launched a new concept store format in Staines, inspired by home decor high street brands.

Enlisting the help of award-winning retail design agency Stamp, the new store has been designed to strike a balance between the needs of the professional tradesperson and DIY-er looking for expert know-how and inspiration.

The inaugural concept store will be split into separate zones - a first for Tile Giant - with areas appealing to the time-pressured tradesperson and the consumer looking to be inspired by the whole range on offer.

Ranging has been reviewed with key brands including Mapei, Rubi and Schlüter displayed on eco-friendly wooden fixtures, and deals and offers brought to life with digital inspiration screens.

The store was officially opened on 2nd August. The grand opening includes special trade offers, including 15% off all orders before September 30th.

James Heese, Managing Director of Tile Giant, commented: “We carried out extensive research in the planning for this new concept store to make sure that we are meeting the needs of the professional tradesperson and the general DIY customer looking for expert advice and a warm, friendly environment to shop.

“With an education zone to help customers choose different accessories as well as a brighter and fresher feel to the store, we’re confident this will feel like a whole new tile shopping experience.

“We’ve focused on the quality and breadth of our ranges and employed experts to make sure that every customer is given the quality service they should expect.

“If this concept store proves a success, we will be looking at a wider portfolio rollout plan - I have every confidence the store will be a success and will set a new benchmark for a tile store within a market that has seen little innovation in recent years.”
