The Managing Director of SYLKA, producer of luxury faux-silk carpets and rugs, has been selected as a judge at the prestigious Luxury Lifestyle Awards due to be held in Dubai.

Steve Farrell will sit on an international panel of judges, which include the likes of Vincent Bastien, the former CEO of Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent Parfum, to establish who are the world’s most luxurious designers and brands.

Steve Farrell, Managing Director of SYLKA carpets, said: “It is a real honour to be chosen to participate in these awards and it is wonderful recognition for SYLKA, which has continued to see growth in the Middle East through our offices and showroom at the Gold and Diamond Park, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.”

The Luxury Lifestyle Awards are internationally recognised by leading members in the luxury sector and are only granted to companies that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding achievements. Categories include Best Luxury Restaurant, Best Luxury Hotel and Best Interior Design Studio.

As well as being chosen as a judge, SYLKA carpets have also been nominated for the National Brand category at the awards ceremony, which is due to take place on 21st May 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai.
